Anup Jalota did not celebrate his 73rd birthday just once. The Bhajan Samrat marked the occasion with three joyous musical gatherings spread across two nights and an entire day, each overflowing with affection, friendship and timeless melodies.
The celebrations began on the eve of his birthday, when close friends gathered to usher in the special day at midnight. The festivities continued the following morning and afternoon, made even more meaningful because his birthday coincided with the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. A third celebration began that evening and continued until the wee hours of the morning, transforming his home into a vibrant and deeply emotional mehfil.
Overwhelmed by the love surrounding him, Anup Jalota enjoyed every moment as singers, instrumentalists, actors, filmmakers and close friends blessed him in the language he cherishes most—music.
